Why We Exist
Somewhere in midlife, a gap opens up between the life you've built and the way your body is functioning. The career is established. The family is growing. The calendar is full. And yet the energy, the clarity, the strength, the desire that built all of it has started to slip.
Most people are told this is normal. Your labs look fine. It's just aging. It's just stress.
AgeWell exists to close that gap. We are a physician-led midlife practice helping men, women, and couples understand what is actually changing in their bodies and what can be done about it, so they can build a body that supports the life they want to live and age on their own terms.
We start by helping you feel like yourself again.
Then we help you get better with every year that follows.
Because aging is inevitable. Aging well is a choice.
What We Believe
We believe health is freedom. Not numbers on a page, but the freedom to move well, think clearly, love deeply, and fully participate in your life for decades to come.
We believe "normal" is not the same as good, and common does not mean inevitable. Decline is not a foregone conclusion. It is often a convergence of hormonal, metabolic, relational, and lifestyle changes that can be understood and addressed with intention.
We believe symptoms are data. So is your story. We will never dismiss how you feel because a lab value falls inside a reference range, and we will never treat a number without understanding the person behind it.
We believe longevity alone is not the goal. A longer life spent tired, foggy, and disconnected is not what anyone is asking for. We are after healthspan, more good years, with the strength and clarity to actually use them.
We believe purpose and connection are medicine. The research is consistent: people with strong relationships and a purpose beyond themselves live longer, healthier, more fruitful lives. That is why relationships and sexual health sit inside our clinical model, not beside it. We are not just optimizing a body. We are helping you stay fully connected to the people and the purpose that make the body worth optimizing.
We believe you deserve agency in your own healthcare. Education creates ownership. When people understand what is happening in their bodies, they make better decisions, and they keep making them long after the appointment ends.
And we believe this work matters beyond the individual. When one person regains vitality and confidence, the effects ripple outward into marriages, families, and communities. Stronger people build stronger homes. Caring well for our bodies and relationships is, at its heart, an act of stewardship.
Our Philosophy of Care: Empowerment Through Understanding
We practice whole-person medicine led by physician-level clinical reasoning. That means we evaluate the interconnected systems that shape how you feel and function: mindset, nutrition and metabolism, hormones, relationships and sexual health, and the daily habits that hold everything together.
We share the root-cause approach you may know from functional medicine, and we take it a level deeper. Hormones act on receptors in nearly every cell in your body, which means hormonal and metabolic changes show up at the cellular level long before they show up as a diagnosis. So that's where we look. We use advanced diagnostics to understand what's happening beneath the surface, and a deeper toolbox to address it: hormone therapy, metabolic and sexual health treatments, peptides and other advanced therapeutics, nutrition, and targeted lifestyle change, applied with critical thinking and sound medical judgment.
Every patient moves through the same process. No patient receives the same plan. The process is what guarantees the level of care: we listen to your story, study the signals, connect the dots, create the plan, and optimize it over time. The plan itself is built for one person, your body, your history, your goals, your season of life. And it has to be a plan you'll actually follow, because a plan you won't follow isn't a plan, it's a piece of paper. So we build it with you, not for you, and we revisit it as your life shifts, because what works for you at 48 may not be what you need at 55.
And the work doesn't end when you feel like yourself again. Feeling better is where we start, not where we stop. Once your foundation is rebuilt, we shift to building on it, monitoring, adjusting, and bringing you the best of what longevity and prevention science offers as it matures, so the version of you that shows up at 70 and 80 is one you chose on purpose.
Care is a partnership. We bring the expertise. You bring the ownership. Neither works without the other.
We are not primary care, a testosterone clinic, or a prescription platform. We are specialists in the midlife transition, and we work alongside your primary care provider, not instead of one.
Our Team
We are more than a staff. We are a small team of credentialed, trained, deeply invested people united by one mission: helping you feel like yourself again. Every person at AgeWell, clinical or not, is trained in the same standards, because details matter when people matter.
Our Promise

We listen without judgment, explain clearly, recommend honestly, and support your decisions with kindness. You should never leave AgeWell feeling dismissed, rushed, or left to guess your way through midlife.
Hi there,
Have you ever felt let down by your body?
Or maybe wondered what was happening to you as the years go by? Why things just aren’t the same as they once were?
Me too.
As a busy, working mother of four kids, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, out-of-shape and the idea of initiating sex with my husband was definitely not on the top of my to-do list. And I was only in my 30s!
Something had to give, and I didn’t want that something to be me. My passions had always included nutrition, fitness, and all things self-improvement. I knew if I dug hard enough, I could find the answers. So I did.

And now I get to spend my days sharing the joys (and the how-tos) of gaining BACK control of your body. While I did my residency training in anesthesiology, this journey led me to certifications in Age Management Medicine, Anti-aging Medicine, Hormone Replacement Therapy, and Nutrition.
With this expertise, I have the privilege of helping men and women rediscover themselves as they learn the lifestyle and medical components of living a healthy, long, enjoyable life. I am wholly committed to excellent patient care while honoring each individual as unique, with his/her own personal goals and needs.
I treasure the conversations I have with all my patients, and I know the topics can be awkward to discuss. This is why I work especially hard to have a private, relaxing environment comfortable for all.
Along this journey, I have learned many important lessons. And since experiencing the loss of my own marriage, I have developed a special place in my heart for marriages. One of my favorite parts of my job is having the privilege of working with couples.
I get to be a part of helping them get closer and more connected by rediscovering and fostering a healthy sexual relationship-even long after the empty nest.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
Our office does not work with insurance companies as we want to be as transparent as possible about pricing. This allows our patients to know exactly what things will cost each step of the way with no surprises. Insurance can be tricky in this regard, and frankly, it doesn't help reduce the cost of most of our services. In fact, our cash prices on labs often save our patients hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars.
What brand of pellets do you use?
Testosterone pellets, with one FDA-approved exception called Testopel, are compounded in a specialty compounding pharmacy. They, therefore, are not branded. Choice of compounding pharmacy is critical in pellet quality and consistency, and for that reason, AgeWell uses strict criteria when choosing where to source pellets. Our pellets are of the highest quality containing only testosterone and a small amount of cholesterol as a binder to help them hold shape. You may have heard of pellet “brands,” but these names refer to the program around which a provider may follow to dose hormones or offer supporting additions to the therapy, rather than the brand of pellet itself. This means that you can have received hormone pellets in the past without success and could still benefit from pellets in the future with a different dosing approach.
I had a bad experience with pellets, can I still get testosterone?
Testosterone replacement therapy is available in many different forms. Just as nausea medicine can be taken as a liquid, a dissolvable tablet, a suppository, or other methods, so can hormone replacement therapy. There are many different options when it comes to replenishing your hormones, some of which include injections, creams, patches, sprays, pellets, and more. At AgeWell, we are happy to discuss with you the options available and will help you decide which method is the best fit for you. And the good news is if one method doesn’t suit you, changing the way you take your hormones is always an option. There are lots of right ways to replace hormones.
Do you use bioidentical hormones at AgeWell?
Terminology can be tricky when it comes to hormone replacement therapy. First and foremost, we want our patients to have hormones that are fully recognized by the human body. This means we always prefer to use bioidentical hormones over synthetic hormones. It is important to understand that bioidentical hormones are available commercially at big-name pharmacies as well as at smaller compounding pharmacies. There are advantages and disadvantages to each, and at your consultation, your provider will discuss which type of hormone prescription is the best fit for you.
Do you see men and women at AgeWell?
Yes! We are passionate about helping men, women and couples feel their best at every age. We often see couples together in one two-hour long appointment so each patient gets the full time and attention they deserve.
What labs are included in the pre-consultation blood draw?
We take a comprehensive look at your hormones and metabolic health. We will review:
Complete Blood Count, Complete Metabolic Panel,TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone), FreeT3, Free T4, Vitamin D, Vitamin B-12, homocystein, ferritin, HS-CRP, Cholesterol Panel, Fasting Insulin, Hemglobin A1C, Uric Acid, DHEA-S, Estradiol, Testosterone Total & Free, Prostate Specific Antigen (for men) and Progesterone (for women).
